In June of 2012, Marianne Beisheim und Nils Simon attended the Rio+20, UN Conference on Sustainable Development, where they both organized a Side Event on the topic of institutional reform in the area of UN sustainability politics as well as participated in the three day “Partnership Forum”. The latter event also addressed if and how the UN can better complement partnerships for sustainable development in the future.
