Regina Klostermann studied law at the University of Muenster where she took her first legal state exam in 2006. During one year studying in France she obtained the “Maîtrise en droit” focusing on international law at the Université Jean Moulin, Lyon II. Between 2007 and 2009 she worked as a legal trainee at the District Court of Berlin where she took her second legal (bar) exam in 2009. Since 2010 she is working as a Research Associate at the subproject C8 dealing with questions of enforcement of international humanitarian law. Mainly she is focusing on the role of NGOs in ensuring compliance with international humanitarian law by Non-State Actors.
