Lars Friberg
Kurzbiographie
Lars Friberg is a research fellow with the SFB 700 Collaborative Research Centre working with the D3 project on the governance implications of the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol, he will undertake the Brazilian case study of the project.
Prior to joining the SFB 700 in March 2006 Lars worked in Brussels as a Policy Officer for Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe, the European node of the global network of Environmental NGOs working for strong political action to tackle climate change.
He earned his first degree in political science at Uppsala University, where he later worked at the multidisciplinary centre for Environment and Development Studies. In 2001 he enrolled at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies – SAIS and after studies in Bologna and Washington D.C. earned a M.A. degree in International Economics and International Relations with a focus on energy and environment. Lars was born in Hudiksvall, Sweden in 1974.
