Panel Discussion and Reception at the 2012 Convention of the German Association for Political Science (DVPW)
The SFB 700 “Governance in Areas of Limited Statehood” is participating in the DVPW Convention this year with an information stand, panelists, and a panel discussion followed by a reception.

The convention is taking place from September 24 to 28, 2012, in Tübingen. The panel discussion and reception have been organized in cooperation with the Bremen-based Collaborative Research Project (SFB) 597 “Statehood in Transition,” and will take place on September 28, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Moderated by Michael Zürn (WZB), the discussion will focus on the topic: “The Promise of the State: Capacities and Limits of Public Institutions in Areas of Consolidated and Limited Statehood.” The following scholars will participate as podium speakers: Prof. Dr. Tanja Börzel (SFB 700), Prof. Dr. Stephan Leibfried (SFB 597), Prof. Dr. Frank Nullmeier (SFB 597), and Prof. Dr. Thomas Risse (SFB 700).
