Transnational Knowledge Transfer at a Workshop by Project C3
On October 20 and 21, 2016, the C3 project "Police-Building and Transnational Security Fields in Latin America" hosted a workshop on “Encountering Transnational Violence in Guatemala.”
News from Nov 15, 2016
Coming from many different academic disciplines (in particular anthropology, history, sociology, and political science), participants from Europe and North and South American discussed transnational violent processes in Guatemala. At the heart of the exchange were empirical presentations that critically studied transnational knowledge transfer in the areas of health, policing, violent youth gangs, and international mining projects in Guatemala.
